Welcome EVMS Alumni!

As an EVMS Alumni, you already know you've graduated from a unique institution. The Office of Alumni Relations is here to help you stay connected to the school, your fellow alumni, and events that celebrate both. Keep us up-to-date on your successes and adventures; take advantage of the new online community that is just for EVMS Alumni; use your electronic "briefcase" to store your publications and presentations; and register online for all alumni events. Consider a position on the Alumni Association Board, advise a current EVMS student or serve as a Class Representative; there are plenty of ways to stay involved with your alma mater. Residents FICA Refunds

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced on March 2, 2010, that medical resident stipends are exempt from FICA taxes for tax periods before April 1, 2005 based on the "student FICA exception."
